Submissions: Less than 10 sales

Every Friday, I put together a treasury of some of my favorite items made by other etsy sellers, post it on my blog and call it the Friday's Favorites.

Last week's Feeling Handy treasury had 109 views, 23 comments, 68 clicks and 12 admirers.

A few months ago, I did a treasury of shops with less than 10 sales, and it was so popular I thought I would do it again.

New Sock Ideas

Yesterday, I started on some new house sock ideas. I came up with some patterns with animals on them. I thought it would be something fun to wear around the house when the weather gets colder.

I've just started a pair of lion socks, and I really hope they turn out well. I am always excited when I start a new idea, but I also get nervous, hoping that it will turn out the way I see it in my head. Many times, it doesn't, and then I'm stuck with a bunch of wasted time, with nothing to put in my shop. However, when it does work out, the pride I have in making my vision come to life is immeasurable.

Just last week my vision for a faux wrap sweater came into fruition. I was going to post more about it, but it sold, and I just shipped it off. When I'm finished with some of my sock ideas, I'm definitely going to make another.

Friday's Favorites: Chocolate and Toffee

Brown is one of my favorite colors, and not only because it's the color of chocolate. It's a great neutral that isn't as stark as black or white, and it gives a lovely warmth to your skin tone.

Friday's Favorites: Animals

How can one resist those cute furry faces, whether to wear them, or to dress up our own cuddle monsters. These animals need a home... Maybe it's in your house or in your jewelry box?

Friday's Favorites -No Books to be Well Red-

April showers bring may flowers, and in my opinion red flowers are the best. Red is such a vibrant and bold color, it really makes a statement no matter how you wear it.

Friday's Favorites: Hoppy Easter

This week's Friday's Favorites is all about Easter. Besides the Easter egg hunt, I think the rabbits are one of my favorite things about Easter.

I wish I could have a bunny rabbit, but so do my dogs... unfortunately, they'd want one for dinner.

Friday's Warm Weather Favorites!

Though I've been told it's cold in many places across the country, it's not here...though I wish it was. The summers in Las Vegas are brutal, and the longer I can put it off, the better.

That said, some of you might be looking forward to the sunshine, so today's Friday's Favorites are all about Summer! Get them while the gettings good, and bring a little warmth in your home to chase away the chill.

Friday's Favorites - "Pink one you Like"

Pink is such a great color! It can represent femininity, or with a harder shade, even strength.

There are some wonderful pinks to choose from this week! What goes better with pink than hearts? Or maybe flatter some of these pinks with a little green?

For women, purses are a necesity. Some may argue they are for men too, as I know my boyfriend is always asking me to put stuff in mine for him.

Friday's Favorites... They're Grrrreen!

Before we get into the Friday's Favorites, I must say that I'm really confused about what is going on in the etsy forums. I can understand moving some of the things to teams, but promotions??? Really?? I don't want to have to join a bunch of teams just to promote my things, or to see what sales people are having when I'm shopping. I'm so confused....

Ok, enough of the ranting, now onto the favorites!

Green is such a versatile color, it goes great in the summer, and works perfectly in the winter. Plus, it's the color of my birthstone....and, the color of money!! You can never have enough green in your closet, in your jewelry box, or in your wallet.

Today I'm planning on listing my Green Pineapple Hat and Scarf set; I'm almost finished with the hat. So I decided to make this week's Friday's Favorite's theme Green... The color, not the lifestyle.

Friday's Favorites...Keep your winter warm!

In some parts of the country, not mine per se, but in many parts, it's really cold outside. We, as warm blooded creatures, must stay warm...and keep our young ones warm as well.

Here are a few ideas for that... You can't stay bundled in your house till spring, so go out and stay cozy in style!

Warm Submissions

I swear there is a warm bubble around my house. And though it sounds nice and cozy, it can lead to some issues. It doesn't matter if I check the thermometer, go out the front door or the back door, I always think, "My, it's a lovely day, I don't need a coat."

Then when I get about 1/4 of a mile away from my house, park the car and start walking to where ever I was going I think, "What was I thinking? It's freezing out here!" And I look around to see that everyone else was smart and bundled up.

I've taken to leaving warm stuff in my car for such occasions.

When I picked the color red for this week's theme, it didn't even occur to me that Valentine's Day was growing near. How silly of me. But hey, I guess I picked red for a reason.

Friday's Favorites - I've got the Blues

I never realized how popular a color blue was. I had more submissions this week than with any other theme I've ever done! It was so hard to pick and choose and the spots filled up quite quickly this week.
