Well, now I've just listed a doggie sweater to match! Same soft yarn, same colors, and now you can match your fur baby! They are sold separately, just in case you don't want to match the dog, or in case you like the sweater and don't own a dog.

I'm in the process of making another one right now to match a different sweater in my shop.

In other news:

Here's a link you guys might like...Since we're on a cuteness vein today, it's all about a giant knit bunny that you can see from an airplane! Now that's something you don't see every day...

A day off...

This is what I want to do today!
...and all I want to do is lay on the couch and so absolutely nothing, unfortunately, I don't think that's going to happen. I've got to go to the bank, the post office, pay bills and list my custom order...I'm going to try and do this as quickly as posible so my transformation into couch potato can begin.

In other news:
One of my sweaters was featured in a blog! Please stop by www.handbagcave.blogspot.com and check it out! I'm so excited!

In my other career news:
The cutbacks have started now. They're cutting down our hours by 30 minutes, which doesn't sound like much until you figure all the people who work 4 days will not be elligible for health insurance anymore...I have my own insurance, so it just effects me money wise...they are also cutting one singer per day (from 6 to 5), and one variety performer which is what I am (from 3 to 2). We don't know what the schedule is going to be like until next week, so everyone's a bit on edge...I picked up another statue day this week to help build up the bank account before the June cuts hit.

Tuesday's Tips for Etsy

Despite my best efforts, the bag lady didn't get finished yesterday. I came down with a massive headache and all I could do was lie there and wait for the Tylenol to take effect...When it did, I was able to finish her dress and make her hat...just a couple of arms and she's ready to go!

I have yet to twitter, but everyday it gets more and more tempting!

Tuesday's Tips:
Not only is it good to get more hits to your esty store, but it's also good to get more hits to your blog to help drive traffic to your store (hopefully from many different sources). Some people do this through Social Networking Sites, some through Blog Directories.

Lenox Knits wrote an amazing blog about this: Click here to see it.
When I read it, I knew that there was no way I could do a job even half as good as this, so please go and check it out!

Tuesday Tips

This dog sweater was featured on schroedersisters.com/guide/warm_fuzzies.htm
I'm going to try out a new section on my blog called Tuesday's Tips. Though I am still relatively new on etsy, I've been collecting some tips from other sellers and I thought I would share them.

Todays tip is a site called letsets.com
What it is, is a download that helps you get your items onto google base. This will help when people do searches for things and click on the shopping link. I've gotten some views from it. No sales yet, but I figure it can't hurt. I also think the more people that do this will get more people to come to etsy in general, and even if they don't buy your product, it's great for the site and they might come and buy something from you later...the more buyers, the better the chance of selling.

I hope this helps!

Also, my Funky Green Doggie Sweater was featured on http://schroedersisters.com/guide/warm_fuzzies.htm Please go and check them out!

Awww...Einstein

Well, before we get to Einstein (you'll see him in the video below), I just finished a new pair of Fingerless Gloves. I was going to photograph them this morning, but one look at my nails told me that I might want to make those look pretty first. I haven't had a lot of close-up magic gigs lately, so I've been kind of lax on my manicure schedule.

In other news, my boyfriend (the clown) has started to move his stuff in...yay! He has more tools than I have yarn and I've given him free reign to do what he wants with the garage. I know that's daring, but he has really good taste so I know it will look good. He also builds the most wonderful things, and I keep telling him to open up a shop on etsy...I don't think he's going to though...oh well, more cool stuff for me!

And now for a funny video I found online featuring Einstein the Parrot!

Friday's Favorites

A tip of the hat to today's favorites...in the cold weather, we lose more heat from our head than from any other part of our body, so I figured, lets celebrate some hats!

Stay warm with these beauties...some from my Etsyknitters Team!

There's more hats over here...I don't want you guys catching a cold out there

New Stuff!!!

Christmas Coasters
Brown knit beanie
So, my Brown Leaf Beanie is finished, photo'd and uploaded. I really like how it came out, though at some point I want to make another one in a lighter color so that the pattern really shines through.

I also finished some Christmas Flower Coasters. I really wanted to make these with the Christmas Crochet thread because I love how the colors pool around the doily.

I've already started on the socks...The cuff is going to be a different style than the Chrismas ones, but so far I love how they're coming out.

Now I'm off to help the boyfriend move the boat into his new slip. (It's not as sexy as it sounds) And then I have a special event at Lladro (a store at the Venetian) for their customer appreciation day. Customers get wine, snacks and entertainment while they browse...and yes, I'm the entertainment...I could be the wine...I'm very good at whining...lol.

Friday Favorites is back tomorrow...I think I've found some cool things :)

I can't think of anything clever this morning, but click here anyway

Something Amazing

This is a video of a guy who creates art in the eye of a needle! I know knitting takes patience, but this...wow...this takes patience to a whole new level!

Art for those who own a microscope!

Thanks Velvet for sending this to the etsyknitters team!

In other news, I'm working on a Christmas scarf right now. What makes it really special is that my boyfriend picked out the yarn for me. He came home one day and said that he found a batch of yarn in a thrift store and figured that I could make something with it for my shop. Isn't he the greatest!!! I was overcome by the sweetness.

Just in case you guys think that it's a little wimpy...he also fixed my car yesterday...so he's still got that macho side.
