Friday's Favorites Treasury

One of the teams I belong to (actually I've been with them since a month after I opened my shop) is called the Etsyknitter's Team. We've been doing a treasury chain, where you make a treasury of people that put you in a treasury and add other team members so that they can make a treasury with you in it. I was so proud of this one that I decided to use it for the "Friday's Favorites" this week.

Friday's Favorites

I just got back from my camping trip...(more about that tomorrow), so the Friday's favorites is a little later in the day than usual. Also, since I wasn't in town on Thursday, I was unable to do submissions this week, so instead I decided to focus on the one team I belong to: The Etsyknitters Team

They are a really great bunch of people, and very supportive, both for knitting and the little pep talk we all need from time to time. For the month of June, we're doing a wedding challenge! Wedding Snood!

I finally finished and listed my wedding snood. I've never made a wedding item before, and I think I like how this one turned out. I'm not sure how many brides are in the market for snoods, but I wanted to do something different for the etsyknitter's team wedding challenge and I didn't see a lot of snood action going on.

I hope you guys like it!

Now I'm working on a cool short sleave top in turquoise...I'm digging the color, so I hope the top does it justice.

Something New

Just listed my Rainbow Headband finally. I had taken the photos last week, but just got the burst of energy to list it today...believe it or not the hardest part was measuring it...no really...we have at least 6 or 7 tape measures in the house and rulers gallore and yet I couldn't find a single one...well, obviously I found one, but it took a while.

Now I need to start making a wedding item for a wedding challenge that the Etsyknitters Team is putting together. They are the only team I belong to and are a really great group of people...trouble is, I don't have anything wedding in my shop right now, and haven't thought of a good idea yet...I guess it's kinda hard to start making something until you know what you're going to make, so I think I'll start with that first.

In other news:

Living statue went great yesterday. I've been working out and I could see that it's really paying off. I was barely sore when I finished my shift...now if only I could fit into my jeans...I guess that will come next.

Friday's Favorite Finds!

Today's favorites are going to be a little different. Since I was able to snag a treasury yesterday morning (while the boyfriend was waiting impatiently for me to get ready), I decided that the items in the treasury were definitely some of my favorites.

Pearls! Pearls! Pearls!

There are so many beautiful items made with pearls. It's not just for June Cleaver anymore! I got some great submissions and I also found some cute things made by the etsyknitters team.

Treasuries, Auditions and um something else...oh my!

Good morning!

Yesterday evening I was able to snag a treasury on Treasury West! I'm really excited! So far it's made it to page two when you sort by hotness! If you have the time, I would love it if you could throw a couple clicks and comments my way...It would be awesome to get it to page one!




In other news: I have an audition today for a music video! I'm not a singer, no, but they are looking for a fire eater. I have to go in today and show them my video...I hope they like it. A lot of times I don't get the fire gigs, because even though I eat fire, I don't do the big fire balls (I refuse!) so then I end up recommending someone else.

New Gloves!

I had to take a short break from the custom sweater I'm making, so yesterday I made some new Fingerless Gloves in Grey and Pink! They are made out of super soft acrylic yarn and are washable too!

I have so many more ideas for fingerless gloves that I'll probably make a couple more pairs after I finish with this sweater...only one more sleeve to go!

Also, my other sweater was featured on HerBlueSatinSahes blog! She bought it and says it fits perfectly...yay!

Update

Sorry about yesterday's post, I over slept and things just got hectic from there until I went to do my shows at the Venetian.

I did finish the book I was reading called "Perv-A love story". My friend Pete told me it was funny. I told my boyfried, "How can he think this book is funny? Everyone's killing themselves!"

He replied, "Remember baby, Pete's a blues musician...he probably find suicide funny."

Oh well, I've started on a new one right now...The White Tiger. I'm only 7 pages in, but so far it looks really promising.

Also, my red and green diamond scarf made it into a treasury!!! If you have time please give it a click or two to help push it to the top.

Friday's Favorites

Friday's Favorites!

First off, only 4 more days until I leave for the inauguration and until my shop goes on vacation, so order now or else you'll just have to wait.

And now, for the favorites this week, I decided to feature my Etsyknitters Team Scarves. A scarf can change an entire outfit, with minimal effort...who doesn't like fashion that keeps you warm too?

Sweater!!!

My new Sweater is finished, photoed and posted. I really like how it came out. I made one for myself years ago in red and I wear it all the time and get tons of compliments on it, so it seemed only logical to make one for the shop. If it does well, I might make some more in other colors.

Next I'm off to work on my first custom order. I'm so excited, I think it is going to turn out really great. It is going to look similar to my Diamond Scarf but will be made with a soft boucle yarn with a red/black mix on the outside and white diamonds in the middle.

Saturday Sale on Friday!

Yes, I know today is usually the day where I highlight some of my favorite items on etsy, but because of the holidays, I'm going to switch it up a bit. Instead, the sale will be today (thru December 31) and I'll have my favorites posted tomorrow.

And now for the sale! Everything in my Holiday Section has been discounted. Some items by $2, some by $10!!! I have already lowered the prices, so you don't have to worry about special codes or convos...but act now, because in 2009, the prices will return to normal.

Treasury!

MostFavoriteAunt put me in a treasury yesterday! Yay!!! I'm so excited...I've only been in one treasury before, so I am totally full of the warm fuzzies.

I would really like this treasury to be hot, and in order for that to happen, it needs lots of unique views, comments, and clicks on the items. It will only take a moment of your time, but I'd really appreciate it...besides, you might find something on there that you can't live without!

Friday favorites is back! It is Friday today right?...I get so busy, it's hard to keep track some days.

I decided to show some sweaters from my Etsyknitters Team. I love looking at sweaters because there aren't too many people that make them (in comparison to most other items)...I think it's because it takes so long to do. I, myself, only have two listed so far.
