Friday's Favorites Treasury

One of the teams I belong to (actually I've been with them since a month after I opened my shop) is called the Etsyknitter's Team. We've been doing a treasury chain, where you make a treasury of people that put you in a treasury and add other team members so that they can make a treasury with you in it. I was so proud of this one that I decided to use it for the "Friday's Favorites" this week.

...but first... Gibbs, the newest member of our doggie pack is getting along just fine. (can 2 be a pack? or do you need 3? I don't think the boyfriend will let me get another one right now). He's starting to get the sniffles though, probably a little kennel cough. The pound gave me a list of vets that will give him medicine for that for free... of course my regular vet isn't on the list, but free vet care is free vet care. It's part of the adoption program; they give them 15 days of free care in case they caught anything at the pound.

Sunday Funday Video - Monkey and Goat

This is an amazing act! I've never seen anything like it.

Even though the video quality is not great, you have a monkey riding on the back of a goat doing a tightrope act! Who could ask for more?

New Doggie

Last night the boyfriend and I adopted a new doggie from the pound. We're not quite sure what kind he is, but we're pretty sure there's some pug in him. Bess, my chihuahua, doesn't usually get along with other dogs, so we brought her to the pound too, before adopting, so that she could have the final say.

They got along, and last night with all four of us in the bed, there was no growling or arguements...(Bess can be a bit possesive of the bed), so we're considering that as a success.


We named him Gibbs... Yes, we're both NCIS fans. I wanted to name him Harry to go along with Bess Houdini, but the boyfriend nixed the idea, so Gibbs it is. Can't change it now anyway, it's on his microchip.

Pink is such a great color! It can represent femininity, or with a harder shade, even strength.
