Custom Orders Gallore!

I'm so excited! I got two custom orders yesterday.

I was really worried that things would completely die out after the new year...I mean the holidays are over, and I thought that maybe they would be all shopped out...but apparently not.

One is for a custom bolero jacket like the one in the picture only different colors, and one is for a scarf hat mittens set. I think I even have the right colors in stock for the jacket, which is nice because it's always a dangerous endeavor for me to go to the yarn store....so many beautiful things and I want to have them all!

I'm really excited to start on the hat since I just bought some new knitting needles from acacheofjewels for just such a purpose.

I'm going to do my level best to finish my current project today so I can get started on the new stuff...If I don't (which will probably be the case), I'll have to put it aside in order to get the orders done in a timely manner.

  3. that little bolero is very very cute:) I have been working on a few long term custom orders, and I need to finish them up pretty soon :)I am glad your sales are still going strong after the new year, we have not been quite as lucky, but then I suppose I put my store on vacation for almost a week too.

  4. Congrats on the custom orders! Sounds like your 2010 is off to a great start!

I'm the same way with yarn shopping-- I just want to buy up everything that I see. I buy from knitpicks.com a lot and have to limit the time I spend on that website! lol.

  6. Hurray for you! :) That's so great! I did some custom orders for men's slippers in large sizes - it feels great, eh, when someone asks you to make something! :D Love it!
